About this piece
Many older houses carry their gutters inside the cornice: a wooden or masonry trough that was originally lined with metal. When that lining fails, a new copper liner formed to the shape of the trough brings the gutter back without rebuilding the cornice.
Tell us the girth and the shape of the trough and we form the liner sections in our Cleburne shop in 16 oz or 20 oz copper, ready to be locked and soldered together on site. Outlets are made to match.

Common questions
Half-round is the traditional look and drains cleanly; it hangs on visible hangers. K-style has a flat back and an ogee front, carries more water for its width and takes hidden hangers. Most houses built after the 1960s have K-style; older houses and metal roofs often suit half-round.
16 oz copper (0.0216 in) is the usual residential weight. 20 oz (0.027 in) is thicker and stiffer, for long runs, large roof areas, commercial work or anywhere the gutter carries snow and ice.
5 inch gutter suits most houses with modest roof areas. 6 inch carries noticeably more water and is the common choice for larger or steeper roofs; 7 inch is for big roof areas and commercial work. If you are replacing gutter, match what is there unless it overflows.
By the linear foot, with a 10 foot minimum per order line. We cut the run to the lengths you list in your order notes, so measure each run along the fascia and round up to the next foot.
